—WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL MY DAKIMAKURA??—
I’ve been getting lots of questions about this via FA, Twitter, Tumblr and even my Email. I was hesitant to talk about it until my business with Furry Dakimakura was completely wrapped up, but now, that’s all behind me and I think it’s time to shed some light on the situation.
The simplest way of explaining it is that, due to circumstances beyond the owner’s control, FurryDakimakura suddenly required that in order to get paid, all its artists must fill in 1099 forms (or its international equivalent) for the IRS and submit the completed forms to the owner of the company for processing.
I am not an American. Therefore, I have neither the obligation or the duty to fill in said (or any such) form that spews forth from the offices of the IRS.
My personal feelings about taxes aside, I didn’t want a form containing much of my personal information to haunt the filing desk of some clerk at the IRS, lest they come at me later on demanding money for some reason (since I’ve been making money via a US based company).
The weirder thing is that, out of all the US based companies I currently work with (there are a few), none of them have asked me to fill in such a form.
Now, I might be being a bit paranoid…perhaps even a tad unreasonable- but I want nothing to do with the IRS at all. I’ve got my own country’s Tax and Revenue service to worry about.
As a result of this development I chose to end my relationship with Furry Dakimakura. The only design from me you can currently see in their store is the Renamon daki, the design for which I sold outright to the owner of the store, so I don’t get royalties whenever one sells.
That said, to those of you who still want to buy my dakimakura (and other assorted goodies I and some colleagues of mine are planning), fear not! Come the new year we’ll be announcing a new partnership that I think will benefit all parties involved and open the doorway to more cuddly waifus, husbandos and pretty things adorning your walls and desks than you can shake a stick at!
Please, be patient and bear with us…it’ll be worth it!

Q:OMG THIS BLOG EXISTS, I FEEL LIKE A PART OF MY LIFE IS COMPLETE :\______/
Awww, thank you ^_^!
Q:For someone that's going to drink alcohol for the first time, what drink would you recommend?
It depends, really…but personally I’d say to go for something fruity. Perhaps a mojito or some sort of cocktail.
I’d stay away from beer since there are soooo many bad ones out there. The chances you’ll get a decent one are slim, unless you’re rolling with a beer-geek, but they’re few and far between.
If you wanna start sipping straight liquor then I’d say to start with a good sipping rum (Captain Morgan’s Private Stock is my go-to) or a good beginner’s whiskey (Aberfeldy 12 year is decent…also Buffalo Trace and Jura 12 year are good starters. Not that expensive either, last time I checked.
I hope that helps!
